About us

“Whatever you do in life, surround yourself with smart people who’ll argue with you.“
John Wooden

Athena Analytics uses machine learning to unlock the unique potential of every student. We enable schools to understand the unique academic potential of every student, to ensure no student gets missed within a busy school system.

We enable schools to understand a student’s true unique, individual potential; ensuring no student ever gets missed and even shining a light on the often forgotten middle.

Our products are developed with the end users in mind, providing real time information in an easy to understand format. They are also easily implemented into your school day without cumbersome analytics, requiring technical skills or new processes.

Athena Analytics, founded by Tralee native Emily Brick in 2017, has since its inception built a solid and established reputation
with schools in Ireland. Starting with 40 schools in 2017, Athena Analytics, five years on, is proud to be working with over half of the
second level schools in the country.

Over the years, the company has developed its product portfolio from statistical reports that analyse state examination results with Athena Reports, to an advanced academic monitoring tool. The Athena Tracker assists schools in ensuring every student reaches their own unique potential and that no student is overlooked in a very busy school system. The most recent development, Athena FitnessMark, supports the physical fitness and wellbeing of students. All of which support Athena’s mission of unlocking students’ potential, in every way possible.

In 2019, Caroline Reidy, Founder and Managing Director of the HR Suite, was appointed as a Non-Executive Director
of Athena Analytics, following an investment in the company. Caroline provides guidance on growing the business and implementing key systems & processes, including building teams in customer support and software development.

In 2020, Athena Analytics appointed an Advisory Board, consisting of some of the most well-known names in education including Professor Áine Hyland, Emeritus Professor of Education and former Vice-President of University College Cork. The Advisory Board provides continued advice, guidance and recommendations on the direction to take the products portfolio, ensuring that all developments are made with the educational landscape of Ireland in mind.
